IN THE GLASS: “Autumn Wish” is a fruit-forward varietal white wine. Aroma is very floral, similar to a Muscat-style wine. Tasting notes include peaches, tropical fruits, pineapple, honeysuckle, and citrus peel.
This is a great wine to pair with soft, young and mild cheeses such as goat cheese, mozzarella, Muenster, feta, Monterey Jack and mild cheddar. It is also a perfect wine for spicy foods such as dim sum, Vietnamese, Korean and Thai cuisine, as well as Indian curries.

ABOUT THIS WINE: The 2018 vintage of “Autumn Wish” is an estate semi-sweet white wine which is made from 100% Aromella™ grapes. ‘Aromella ™ is a new variety, recently released in 2013. Developed at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station, Cornell University as a disease-resistant, cold climate grape. It originated from a cross between three other grapes, Ravat, Traminette, and Gewürztraminer. It is suitable for growing without excessive pesticide use as is required of traditional varieties. In addition, Aromella may be grown without grafting. Traditional grape varieties are grafted because of their lack of disease-resistance. Our vines are own-rooted, meaning that the root system is true to the desired variety, and not grafted.
The vines are grown using a GDC trellis system. All the grapevines used in this wine was hand-pruned, which contributes to the exceptional quality of this wine. The grapes were hand-harvested at 21 brix, destemmed and lightly crushed. The pomace was allowed to sit for 4 hours on the skins, and then lightly pressed. Unlike other white wines, this example has a fruit forward flavor profile, high minerality, and moderate alcohol profile of 12%.
